Group Work

Gathering in circle, exploring together.

Humans have gathered in circle for millennia, sharing a meal, exploring strategies to overcome challenge, as container in repair of fractured relationships, sharing stories and warming by the fire. We listen, we offer our experience, we question, we resolve, we repair. What we hear and offer resonates or is catalyst for the gathered people, we are defined as individuals and fundamentally, co create and reinforce our community. We are uniquely ourselves in circle, yet the shared experience confirms and enriches a basic human need: we belong.

The depth of connection available in a safe, confidential and supportive space asks each participant to contribute in it’s creation, establishment and to share in it’s harvest. There is a particular connection built between members, a deep groundedness of being, held as an individual and as an essential part of the fabric of the whole, of community.

The groups I facilitate offer self-reflection through journal writing, art and creativity. There are also invitations to explore more deeply with one other group member or you can choose to share with the group. No artistic ability is required, just a willingness to put shape to what arises within.

You are welcome just as you are right now, recognising that we are all a work in progress, exploring our ever changing inner and outer landscapes and applying old and new wisdom and intelligence to map our paths from here to there.

A group commencing in late 2022 will explore the stories in Dr Estes book Women Who Run with the Wolves in monthly gatherings in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

Participating in a women’s group offers many riches
